Custom Extruded Rubber

extruded rubber image

Extruded rubber products serve as solutions in many different markets and industries to seal and protect against weather, isolate noise, and/or eliminate vibration. Our elastomers are extruded using a salt bath curing process which allows for continuous, large-batch production runs.

KLINGER Thermoseal manufactures the highest quality custom seals to satisfy your most challenging requirements and design criteria. Rubber extrusions have countless uses including seals for windows, doors, cabinets and enclosures, weather stripping, tubes, cords, T and U Channels and edge trim.

We provide dense rubber and closed cell sponge in EPDM, Neoprene, and Nitrile elastomers. We have capabilities to create anything from simple shapes to intricate profiles.

POLYMERS AVAILABLE:

EPDM Rubber (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is a product of propylene and ethylene copolymerization. It is a synthetic rubber with excellent dielectric resistance, superior weathering resistance and maintains its mechanical properties at high and low temperatures. EPDM is versatile and durable making it suitable for an array of applications.

Neoprene Rubber (polychloroprene) is resistant to ozone, sunlight, oxidation and many petroleum derivatives. It is a synthetic rubber that is chemically inert and has excellent aging resistance.

Nitrile Rubber (also known as Buna-N or NBR) is made from butadiene and acrylonitrile. It is resistant to oil, grease and most petroleum-based chemicals. It performs well at low temperatures. Nitrile is a highly versatile synthetic rubber.

We have materials suitable for practically every specification. Compounds are available in a variety of grades to meet your specific application including compliance to REACH and RoHS regulations, flame retardant and FDA and UL requirements. Color choices include black, white or grey as well as custom colors.
